3. What were you doing before CrossFit? How did you hear about CrossFit and/CrossFit Axon?
I had done CrossFit in the past after Lane was born but the gym wasn’t a good fit for myself and my family. We bounced around a couple of local CrossFit gyms but couldn’t find one we loved after Sadie was born. Also I needed childcare when the kids were little. I was going to 9Round in Mint Hill for about a year before coming to CrossFit Axon.
4. What other sports or activities do you participate in as a family besides CrossFit?
The kids are so busy with a variety of sports and they both do scouts so we spend a lot of time outside playing, practicing and walking or hiking. 5. How many times per week do you CrossFit?
Usually 5 sometimes 6 6. What is your athletic background?
I played basketball, soccer and softball growing up and then basketball, soccer and cheer leading in high school. I’ve always loved competition of any sort.

I found it to be very welcoming. I was excited to be back in a CrossFit environment but I knew I had A LOT of work to do. 8. What brought your back after your first workout?
Curtis asking me when I was coming back! Knowing someone was going to hold me accountable and be looking for me kept me on track while I was getting back in the habit of coming. 9. Do you have any special or favorite CrossFit Axon memories/moments?
Gaining a new movement and PRs are my favorite. 10. What would you like to tell someone who wants to start CrossFit Axon but may be unsure about getting started?

I count my macros now. It has been a huge help in losing some weight I had put on when I thought nothing else would work. Also, having someone hold me accountable with my nutrition and tweak my macros as needed has been really important for me. 12. What kind of results have you seen since starting at CrossFit Axon?
Gained a bunch of strength, endurance and intensity during workouts. Decreased anxiety, Increased muscle tone and weight loss
